Thirty million Americans will suffer from a clinically significant eating disorder in their lifetime. The National Eating Disorder Association (NEDA) will host the 2nd annual Twin Cities NEDA Walk at Mall of America® on Sunday, Sept. 15.
The goal of the NEDA walk is to help raise awareness and funds in the fight against eating disorders. Funds raised from the walk will be used to support NEDA’s education and advocacy programs to campaign for prevention, improved access to quality treatment and increased research funding to better understand and treat eating disorders.
Since 2009, NEDA Walks have grown to more than 50 walks across the nation each year, raising more than 2 million dollars for the cause since their inception.
